Class Offerings
Parent/Tot Dance & Tumble
A Fun intro to both Dance and Tumble for ages 18mos. to 3 years to build confidence in a class setting with the support of a parent or caregiver. In this class, focus is on learning class structure, developing motor & social skills while playing games and exploring new types of movement.
Tutus & Tumble - Ages 2 to 3

A fun intro to independent dance & tumble class for our tiniest tots. These 30 min. classes focus on learning classroom structure, motor & social skills and basic foundations. There is no formal onstage performance.

Pre-School Ballet & Tap Combo
An energetic intro to independent learning for ages 3-5. Dancers in this class will have fun dancing and singing while they develop listening, motor and social skills through learning the fundamental basics of Ballet and Tap dance. At year's end they will perform in our annual Dance Spectacular.
Hip Hop Tots - Ages 4-6
Your little one will love this upbeat and energetic intro to Hip Hop and Jazz Funk fundamentals using age appropriate music, costumes and choreography. A great class for both Boys and Girls!
Pre-School Acro/Tumble
This specialized class for ages 3-5 focuses on developing strength, flexibility and refines motor skills while your little one has a blast, climbing, rolling and tumbling on our perfectly sized preschool equipment. A great class for Boys and Girls!
Ages 5-7 Ballet/Jazz/Tap Combo
This 1.25 hr. class builds on the foundations set in our preschool program and advances dancers by introducing more complex movement patterns, formations and dance vocabulary. Students this age always look forward to adding Jazz to their repertoire.
Ballet & Pointe
Beginning at age 7 for Ballet and with instructor's approval for Pointe classes, these structured classical Ballet classes focus on building a safe and strong technical foundation while developing discipline and persistence.
Jazz - Ages 7 & Up
With a focus on musicality, style and technique, this energetic dance style engages learners in building strength, flexibility and learning skills such as kicks, leaps and turns. Typically performed to upbeat dance/pop music.
Lyrical & Contemporary
Lyrical and contemporary styles are geared toward the intermediate & advanced dancer. Building on the technique developed in Ballet and Jazz classes, these styles focus on interpretive movement and emotional expression.
Tap - Ages 7 & Up
This percussive style of dance utilizes special shoes to make rhythms with the feet. A great way to build speed and agility while improving musicality. Dancers love learning to make music with their feet.
Hip Hop - Ages 7 and up
Hip Hop is a street style of dance that incorporates popping, locking, tutting, breaking among other styles. At M-power we focus on teaching these fundamentals in an age appropriate fashion while educating students in the history of Hip Hop dance & culture. Jazz Funk styles will also be covered in this class.
Int./Adv. Acro and Tumble
This class builds on the basics of Acrobatic dance and tumbling. Students build strength and flexibility to perform skills such as elbow stands, cartwheels, walkovers, handstands, back handsprings and aerials. Discipline and proper technique are emphasized to ensure student safety.
Musical Theater - Ages 4 & up
Broadway Babies (Ages 4-6): A fun introduction to Musical Theater Dance that focuses on characterization, style, performance quality and acting.

Musical Theater Int./Adv. (Ages 7 & UP): Dancers learn to utilize stylized movement and facial expressions to develop character interactions through dance with a focus on performance quality, stage etiquette and acting.
Boys Only Classes
A fast paced class of Hip Hop & Tumbling for Boys ages 6 & up that develops strength, coordination and movement quality. Boys only Tap will be offered as an add on class with interest.

Adult/Alumni Jazz/Lyrical & Tap
A fun break from the weekly grind! Come dance your cares away with your friends and check your cardio, flexibility and strength training boxes at the same time! Classes will focus on fundamentals and fun... appropriate for the experienced and the beginner adult alike.
Recital participation is optional.

Need to prepare for a special event, competition or audition? Just looking to improve your technical skills? Private & Semi-Private lessons are available to students from any studio looking to level up their training. Contact the director to schedule.

Competitive Dance
For students looking to take their dance training to the "next level", M-power Dance Project offers an award winning competitive program for ages 4 & up. With a focus on education and skill development, dancers are exposed to leading instructors in the industry and provided more performance opportunities. Program placement is through evaluation each Summer or by instructor invitation. Contact the director by email for more details.
